Your Wellness Maintained - Why this is so Important!

So much in life we take for granted, particularly our everyday health and quality of life ... until we begin to notice some adverse changes.

It is so important to maintain your overall Wellness, particularly for older people, say 60+ years.  We all need to do all we reasonably can to maintain our steady Wellness, otherwise the quality of our lives can begin to decrease significantly.

The purpose of this Blog is to cover a wide range of issues which affect our Wellness, and to consider the best ways to keep us keeping well and happy for as long as possible.

It is tempting to simply resolve to improve the overall wellness of your life, without giving sufficient consideration about how you are actually going to achieve this. Complete Wellness - Why it is important to consider the Bigger Picture

From what I have observed so far, it is tempting to consider the concept of Wellness as the need to eat a healthy diet, with maybe some sessions of yoga or mindfulness thrown in. However really Wellness should be understood as having much wider implications and so corresponding ways of establishing these. Certainly maintaining a healthy diet is a crucial part of this.  For anyone to indulge themselves on a regular basis by eating fatty or high sugar content foods, this much increases the risk of suffering heart or stroke problems in later life. However if we are thinking of the overall condition of the cardio-vascular system then the importance of getting regular exercise should not be ignored.  Ironically the getting of plenty of exercise will to some extent limit the damage being done by eating the wrong foods.  Nevertheless we should all try to both eat healthy foods and exercise regularly. And our physical health is not necessarily the main consideration....
